The last two days of my Vienna trip were spent travelling. Unfortunately, that is the downside of travelling by bus. They try to make it fun by adding an excursion to one of the days. For this trip, that was the city of Passau, famous for its organ, supposedly the second biggest in the world.

I must say, it is amazingly beautiful.

This was the cathedral’s courtyard. So spooky!

As you can see the water was already quite high. Some parts of the riverside were already blocked off because of the water.

After Passau, we travelled to Dietfurt where our hotel was. The last day was spent travelling from Dietfurt to Didam where we put on different busses that drove you to your hometown. I was home around 7.30 in the evening.

I had an amazing time in Vienna. I saw pretty much all that I wanted to see there. The museums were great and the entrance fees were reasonable. I do wish they had some sort of logical route in museums. In several museums, I had to walk back to where I came from just to get to an exit. Doesn’t make much sense.
