Abigail Kawananakoa, the would-be Queen of Hawaii, has married her longtime partner Veronica Gail Worth last Sunday.

A marriage announcement said, “Both Princess Kawananakoa and Veronica could not be happier to have sanctified their longtime loving relationship and wish to express their deepest appreciation to all close friends and loved ones for their congratulations and best wishes for a long healthy and happy marriage together.” The pair has been together for 21 years.

Abigail Kawananakoa, who is 91 years of age, is the great-grand-niece of the last Queen of Hawaii, Liliuokalani. She is the only child of Lydia Liliuokalani Kawānanakoa and Jeremiah Ellerbrock. She was adopted by her grandmother, Princess Abigail Campbell Kawānanakoa in the Hawaiian tradition of hānai.
