University of São Paulo to exhume Isabel, Princess Imperial

The University of São Paulo is to exhume to bodies of Isabel, Princess Imperial, her husband Prince Gaston, Count of Eu and her parents Pedro II of Brazil and Teresa Cristina of the Two Sicilies. All four are buried in the Cathedral of São Pedro de Alcântara, Petrópolis, Brazil and will be transferred to the  Hospital das Clínica. [read more]
